![]() It never made sense form a game dev point of view, either. The arms made sense with the exception of plate armor, they had no need to cover what wasn't there, but the spine? It's a thin bit of cloth, why go OUT OF YOUR WAY to modify it to show the bone? The thing is just.why is it torn in the first place? Why would an undead purposefully tear a good cloak to show their exposed spine? Even more so now that the spine can be hidden. It doesn't look THAT bad, tbh.Without the spine, it just looks like a cloak that got torn down the middle a bit. A fluid piece of cloth, there should be ways to model it OVER the player model that doesn't require modifying the character model at all. They want the undead to look.undead? The arms did that, the boney fingers and toes, the e to think of it, doesn't tauren neck fur stick out of cloaks, too? Did it just look too weird with the cloak model draped over that area? They don't have to hide it, like certain hairstyles, ears, and such. They might be able to fix by reversing indexes on the models, giving the cloak priority over other clipped elements of the player model so to speak, but that could cause other issues as well, like disappearing legs or arms, depending.It doesn't look THAT bad, tbh.Without the spine, it just looks like a cloak that got torn down the middle a bit. I think it's an issue with the now transparent spinal bone portion of the wireframe pushing through the cloak texture, when this happens in most cases in WoW it causes a sort of false transparency in the occluded texture (the cloak in this case). ![]()
